קורונה חדש 5

Due to the spread of corona, the play facilities at Anabe Park will be closed as of Tuesday 7.7.20. Sports activities hours will also be limited. The municipal police will be responsible for enforcement.

The municipality announced the closure of the play facilities at Anabe Park until further notice. Accordingly, the park will only be open for sports and hiking activities, which will also be limited during morning and evening hours: Sunday to Friday from 5am to 9am and 5pm to 11pm. On Saturday from 5am to 10am and 5pm to 11pm.
Municipal policing and inspectors will be active at the park entrance as well as maintaining order and cleanliness within it.

The decision to close the facilities and restrict park entry is due to the numerous violations of the park directives during the recent period as well as the new restrictions on gatherings.

Over the past week, dozens of fines have been issued for not wearing a mask in public spaces throughout the entire city and in Anabe Park in particular. From Friday 26.6 until 4.7 more than 200 fines were issued.
The water fountains at Anabe Park were discontinued last week, and it was decided to freeze summer activities at the park, including "Anabe Village" activities, for the city’s youth.

The municipality noted that it is possible to walk in the park and visit the dog park located on the premises, but the play facilities are strictly prohibited. We note that the resumption of park activity will be determined in accordance with the restrictions on gatherings.
Concurrent with this activity during the weekend, reviews were conducted in the city's synagogues. The reviews were designed to ensure that the masking guidelines, distance keeping and the maximum number of people allowed in the synagogues were met - 50 people. The municipality emphasized that, with one exception, all synagogues followed the Ministry of Health's guidelines.
Enforcement is gearing up in the shadow of alarming increases in the number of residents who tested positive for Corona virus. Compliance with the Ministry of Health guidelines can significantly reduce the spread of the virus, especially by wearing a mask in public places and keeping two meters apart.

The Security and Emergency Services Division makes it clear that, in parallel with the enforcement of corona violations, municipal enforcement of the "purple tag" in businesses will be increased and violators will be fined. This is due to non-compliance with the purple tag guidelines in various shops and businesses, according to complaints from residents and city inspections.

Please note that the guidelines include, among other things, mandatory wearing of masks in a store, keeping to the maximum number of people at any given time depending on the size of the store and more.
