18/09/2022 כ"ב אלול תשפ"ב

93.3% are eligible for matriculation, 24.7% have a matriculation certificate with honors, 53.2% of students are eligible for matriculation in mathematics at the 4 or 5 credit level, 73.6% are eligible for technological certification, and the dropout percentage is zero.

According to the data, it is evident that the municipal education system is high above the national average. In the year 2021-22, there were 2,039 12th grade pupils studying for the bagrut; and 6,098 pupils studying in the upper division grades 10-12. This figure places Modi'in Maccabim Reut with 93.3% eligibility for matriculation (the national average is 76% only).

93% of the total 12th grade students in the city are students studying in the city (an improvement of almost a percent compared to last year's figure - 92.3%). This indicates the trust of the parents and students in the municipal education system, who recognize its quality and their impressive achievements, thanks to the investment in them with a very high percentage of persistence (students who start and stay in schools in the city stay there). The national average is 80.6%. Also, special education students, including those integrated into the regular education system, are about 10% (including children from surrounding communities.) It should be emphasized that this figure includes graduates of the Gvanim Special Education School.

Another important achievement of the municipal educational system that must be considered in the analysis of the percentage of eligibility for matriculation is the success in reducing the number of pupils who drop out of school, which is zero - 0.4% compared to the national figure of 1%, which once again showcases the educational principle of the Education Administration: "We do not give up on any student and no student is given up."

In the outstanding matriculation data, Modi'in Maccabim Reut continues the upward trend of every fourth child finishing the education system in the city with an outstanding matriculation certificate - 24.7% - an increase of one percent compared to eligibility for outstanding matriculation from the previous year, in which 23.7% of the students were outstanding.

Another impressive figure is the percentage of students in technological education, which stands at 73.6%, where three out of four students studied at least one technological subject with 5 units. This achievement is thanks to the investment of the students, the school staff and the municipal education system, who see the "future" professions as an investment in the future of the city and the country.

Even in the number of students who were tested in matriculation at levels 4 and 5 units of mathematics. This year the student figure is 53.2% with 25.9 % of the students approaching matriculation of 5 unit Maths. Even in the city's English studies, the data continues to be impressive with 72.2% of pupils entitled to a 5-credit matriculation in English.

Mayor Haim Bibas: "Year after year, Modi'in Maccabim Reut is a leader in academic and value education data, and there is nothing that makes us prouder than that, since this is our future generation. We want them to be trailblazing, successful, valuable and qualitative both as individuals and as members of society. Right now, the municipal budget for 2023 is being formulated, when once again, the order of priorities and resources will be allocated first for the benefit of municipal education, while constantly striving for excellence, thinking outside the box and professionalism. Congratulations to the dedicated and excellent education teams, to the Education Administration, to our partner parents and, of course, to each and every pupil for their wonderful achievements."
