In an informative meeting, the head of the Education Division, Batia Shochen Orbuch, met with the new residents of Moreshet, where she presented the vision of the education system, pedagogical concepts and numerical data about the current school year.
Also explained was the plan for educational institutions in the neighborhood and the registration process for the current academic year and for next year.
Six kindergartens were opened this year, as well as Eretz Moledet (mamlachti) and Tzlilim, a special education school, which is temporarily operating in Avnei Chen.
Based on the registration data, a decision will be made regarding Eretz HaTzvi Elementary School, (mamlachti dati) as well as for additional grades in Eretz Moledet. Registration for these two schools for all grades opened on 23.1.23.
The goal is to open classes for all ages in their residential neighborhood, however, as mentioned, final decisions regarding opening classes in the different grades in the schools depends on the number of pupils enrolled.
A significant emphasis is given to the special education population, with clear instructions regarding the transfer of information and documents regarding the children.
In addition, parents were presented with the online information accessibility booklet found on the municipality's website, which provides detailed information for new residents regarding the registration process for the educational institutions for next year.
At the end of the presentation, residents were given the opportunity to ask questions to which they received detailed and explanatory answers from the Head of the Education Division.
