• Budgeting and operation of special education frameworks in the city.
• Placement of assistance for special needs education in the city.
• Placement of assistance for students enrolled in regular educational institutions who are eligible for assistance through the Integration Committee.
• Process eligibility for medical assistance for students enrolled in regular education.
• Guidance and training of assistants.
• Professional development and vocational training of assistants in special needs education.
• Consultation, training and guidance counseling for principals of both special needs and regular educational institutions in the city.
• Consultation and guidance for parents.
• Developing specialized programs to advance students in special education frameworks.
