מאז קום המדינה חלמו מנהיגי ישראל להחיות את היישוב היהודי הקדום "מודיעים", סמל לגבורה החשמונאית ולשימור הזהות היהודית והלאומית של עם ישראל. בהקמת העיר מודיעין בשנות ה-90 הוגשם חלום יהודי עתיק וניתן האות לתקומה הישראלית התוססת. מודיעין מכבים רעות, שהחלה להתאכלס בשנת 1996, מסמלת עידן חדש בבניין ערים בישראל. בחזון תכנונה של העיר, נרקם מודל של עיר חדשנית ומודרנית שכל מעייניה באיכות חיי התושבים וברווחתם.

כדי לענות על צרכי העיר הגדלה והמתפתחת ועל מנת לשפר ולייעל את הקשר הבלתי אמצעי בין התושב לרשות, האתר נבנה בכלים טכנולוגיים חדשניים ומתקדמים.

האתר משלב מספר מערכות מתקדמות למתן מידע עדכני לתושב.

בין המערכות הבולטות ניתן לציין :

• מערכת לקבלת מידע גיאוגרפי מתקדמת המאפשרת קבלת מידע חזותי על מתחמים,
  מוסדות חינוך, מוסדות ציבור, רחובות ואלמנטים גיאוגרפיים אחרים.
  

• מערכת תיק תושב מאפשרת קבלת מידע מרוכז על השירותים השונים הניתנים ע"י
  העירייה לתושב/ת.
  

• טופס פניה מקוון למחלקות השונות ולמוקד העירוני המבטיח יחס אישי ומענה מהיר
  מול גורמי העירייה הרלוונטיים.
  

• מערכת חכמה להצגה של אירועי תרבות ואירועים אחרים בדף הבית
  

• מערכת להצגה של מידע חשוב בחלון על סדר היום שנמצא בדף הבית
  

• מערכת תשלומים מקוונים.
  

• מערכת לרישום תלמידים למוסדות חינוך (בזמן רישום תלמידים)
  
  באתר ניתן למצוא מידע בגוון רחב של נושאים ושירותים הניתנים ע"י העירייה, בכלל זה ניתן לקבל מידע על מירב השירותים הניתנים, אופן קבלת השירות, הפעולות הנדרשות לקבלת השרות ואכן הורדת טפסים רלוונטיים.
  
  בנוסף לכך ניתן למצוא מידע על אמנת השרות וכן על אופן קבלת השירותים הניתנים באמנה.
  
  

• בהמשך יתווספו מערכות נוספות לשימוש ולנוחיות התושבים / גולשים.
  
  

• בעת אפיון האתר ניתן דגש רב על עמידה של האתר בתקנים וכן על הנגשתו למוגבלים,
  לצורך כך נבחרו טכנולוגיות שמאפשרות גמישות ושעמדות בתקנים של עולם האינטרנט.

כללי: ברוכים הבאים לאתר העירוני של עיריית מודיעין מכבים רעות (להלן גם: "העירייה").
העירייה מציעה את המידע בשירות מקוון זה/ באתר מידע ברשת האינטרנט (להלן: "השירות") בכפוף לתנאים הבאים.
"משתמש"- משמעו כל אדם או תאגיד היוצר קשר או מתקשר עם השירות.
הפרסומים באתר זה נועדו לסייע לציבור בגישה למידע אודות עבודת אגפי העירייה והמחלקות השונות בה, לרבות שעות קבלת קהל, פרסומים אודות פעילויות ואירועים עירוניים בתחומים שונים לרבות: חינוך, תרבות ופנאי ועוד.
המידע המתפרסם באתר הינו כללי ואין בו כדי להוות תחליף לבדיקה או לקבלת מידע בנושא מסוים הנדרש באופן ספציפי למשתמש מסוים. מידע זה אינו בא כתחליף לעיון בחומר המקורי ואין בו כדי להטיל על העירייה חובה כלשהי כלפי המשתמש במידע. בכל מקרה, המידע המפורסם בפרסומים הרשמיים של העירייה גובר על המידע המפורסם באתר זה.

זכויות יוצרים: על פי דיני זכויות היוצרים החלים בישראל ועל פי אמנות בינלאומיות, זכויות היוצרים בפרסומי העירייה שייכים לעירייה, לרבות הפרסומים באתר אינטרנט זה. "פרסומים" – טקסטים, תמונות, איורים, מפות, קטעי וידאו, קטעי צליל, קבצי מלל, גרפיקה ויישומי תוכנה (להלן: "החומר המוגן"), וזאת אלא אם נקבע מפורשות כי זכויות היוצרים שייכות לגורם אחר.
המשתמש רשאי לעשות שימוש הוגן בחומר המוגן, כהגדרתו בחוק זכויות יוצרים, תשס"ח-2007, כאשר שימוש בחומר המוגן ייעשה תוך ציון המקור ממנו נלקח החומר המוגן.
על המשתמש חל איסור לפגום בחומר המוגן, לסלפו, לשנותו בכל צורה שהיא וכן לבצע פעולה פוגענית ביחס לאותו חומר שיש בה משום הפחתת ערך ביחס לחומר המוגן, העלולה לפגוע בכבוד או בשמו של בעל זכויות היוצרים בו.

אחריות: השירות מוצע לציבור כמו שהוא (AS IS) ועיריית מודיעין מכבים רעות לא תישא באחריות להתאמת השירות לצרכי המשתמש. כמו-כן, העירייה לא תישא באחריות לנזק ככל שייגרם למשתמש ו/או כל צד שלישי עקב השימוש בשירות זה ו/או במידע הכלול בו. "נזק"- כל נזק, בין במישרין בין בעקיפין, לרבות נזק שנגרם כתוצאה מהסתמכות על מידע המופיע בשירות, ממידע שגוי ו/או מטעה המופיע בשירות, מהשבתתו הזמנית או הקבועה של השירות, משימוש ביישומים או יישומי תוכנה שהורדו ישירות או באמצעות השירות או הופעלו כתוצאה משימוש בשירות ממחיקה או שינוי או כל שיבוש אחר שנגרם למידע המופיע בשירות או מכל נזק שהוא שנגרם כתוצאה משימוש באתר אחר המקיים קישוריות בינו ובין אתר העירייה.
המשתמש בלבד נושא באחריות לגבי האופן בו הוא עושה שימוש בשירות ו/או במידע המתפרסם בשירות וכן לכל נזק העשוי להיגרם כתוצאה משימוש כאמור.
העירייה אינה אחראית לכל טעות, סתירה, השמטה, תוספת, שיבוש פגם או ליקוי אחר המצוי במידע, והנוסח המחייב הוא אך ורק הנוסח המקורי של המידע כפי שהתפרסם ברשומות או כפי שמופיע ברישומי העירייה.

1. General:
Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut Municipality (hereinafter: "the Municipality") is committed to protecting the right to privacy of the public using the municipal website. The objectives of this document are to detail the manner in which users' personal information is collected and managed by the municipality and the use made by the municipality of the information.

It is clarified that the information received from third parties is their sole responsibility, and the municipality will have no liability in connection with the receipt and/or storage and/or use of incorrect and/or outdated information provided to it.

8. Third-party services and information transfer:
For the purpose of providing services, the Municipality will also use third-party services and software tools (portals).

In addition, the Municipality may transfer and/or allow access to information to various suppliers of the Municipality for the purposes of operating the website and providing the services therein, such as clearing providers and software houses, etc. in accordance with the provisions of the law, the Municipality shall be entitled to transfer information to cloud computing providers in Israel and abroad for the purposes of storing and/or backing up data.

It is clarified that the transfer of information to third parties will be limited solely to the purposes listed in this policy, which will be updated from time to time, and to the extent required for this purpose only, at the discretion of the Municipality.

However, personal information necessary for the municipality to perform its functions and for any legitimate purpose, such as defending against claims, will be retained for the time necessary for this, subject to the provisions of any law.

12. Updating the Privacy Policy:
The Municipality reserves the right to update its Privacy Policy from time to time, with the date of the last update appearing at the top of this page.
