Shofar sounding locations throughout the city and a sunrise slichot performance in Anabe park with singer Narkis.The Culture and Events Department at the municipality is holding neighborhood shofar sounding in parks throughout the city with the arrival of the Tishrei holidays.
The public is invited to hear the sound of the shofar at the beginning of the new year, on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23-24, at 17:00.
Neighborhood locations:
Masuah: Migdal HaLevanon Park; and the park on Yitzhak Rabin Boulevard opposite house no.18.
Kramim: Emek HaEla park opposite house number 45; park on Tammuz Street behind the supermarket on Tishrei Street 34.
Avnei Chen: Avnei HaHoshen park at the corner of Leshem; and the park opposite Emek Zevulun no. 18.
Moriah: The Ropes park on Eli Cohen Street; and at Moriah Center .
HaNehalim: Migdal David park.

A city performance of Slichot at Sunrise will take place on Friday, September 26, as always, by the lake in Anabe Park with residents and the participation of hundreds of sixth grade students at 6:00 AM. A magical atmosphere of melodies and piyyutim, familiar and beloved prayer and holiday songs at dawn and the sounding of the Shofar, along with the singer Narkis. After the performance, a Tashlich ceremony will be held on the shore of the lake at Anabe.
