Purim Parade Adloyada

This Friday, February 27th, the annual ” Adloyada” Purim Parade, the most colorful annual event in the city, celebrates Purim and the 30th anniversary of the city of Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut. Fourth-grade elementary school students have been working hard to prepare the displays and costumes for the joyful event.

The parade will proceed from Yair Parag St. along the northern part of Emek haHula to the junction of Emek haHula with Nahar HaYarden and Emek HaHula Ampi Park.

The municipality announced that traffic arrangements and roadblocks will be in place for the event, between 09:00 and 16:00.

Vehicles parked on Emek HaHula St on Friday will be towed.
Emek HaHula on both sides from Yair Parag to the corner of Nahal Ayoun near the "Country Center" shopping center will be closed to traffic.
Emek Jezreel Street East will be blocked at the intersection with Nahal Bezeq, Emek Jezreel Street West will be blocked at the intersection with Emek Dotan Street to the corner of Emek HaHula.

Nahal Yarmouk Street will be blocked at the intersection with Emek Jezreel Street.

Nahal Tzin will be blocked at the intersection with Emek HaHula, at the intersection with Nahal Paran Street, and at the intersection with Nahal Hever and Nahal Sorek Streets. Residents of Nahal Tzin, Nahal Paran, Nahal Kidron and Nahal Snir Streets will only be allowed to enter upon presentation of an updated ID card with their residential address.

Nahal Paran will be blocked at the intersection with Emek HaHula (entrance and exit for residents of Nahal Paran will be allowed via Nahal Tzin St. only).

Nahal Ga'aton will be closed at the intersection with Nahal Netafim St until 15:00.

Nahal Tavor will be closed until 15:00.
Nehar Hayarden will be closed at the intersection with Emek HaHula South until 15:00.

From 15:00, Emek HaHula will open to traffic from Yair Parag to Sharbat Center in both directions, and also Emek HaHula from the direction of Azrieli Mall to Nehar Hayarden Street.

Residents of Masuah, Shvatim and Moriah neighborhoods who wish to reach the city center are advised to go via Sderot HaHashmonaim (and not via Nahal Tzin and Nahar Hayarden Streets).

Lost children will be gathered at the entrance to Netiv Zvulun school.
Animals, sprays, two-wheeled vehicles, including electric bicycles, will not be allowed into the Adloyada area, and entry with personal/IDF weapons will not be allowed.

Changes to public transport: between 09:00 and 16:00 there will be changes to routes on the city and intercity lines. Make sure to check the updated information on Kavim bus company website and the national information center "Kol Kav" by calling *8787.

The Adloyada will be accessible with an accessible viewing area for the visually impaired, on Emek HaHula opposite house number 28 near Sharbat Center, which includes a simultaneous audio description of the procession via headphones.

Owners of vehicles with a disabled permit will be allowed entrance via Emek HaHula Street, from Yair Parag in the opposite direction of travel, to Sharbat Center. Residents or guests with a disabled permit who wish to use accessibility are asked to contact the municipal hotline 106 or 08-9726217.
