A new business entrepreneurship and development program for new immigrants living in the city is intended to help them create networking, marketing and branding, and deal with the challenges of immigration to a new country.

Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut Municipality, led by council member Cherie Albucher, holder of the Absorption Portfolio , together with the Multidisciplinary Center, the Absorption Department and leading professional entities, is launching a business development and professional empowerment program for new immigrants. The goal of the program is to promote economic integration, strengthen business entrepreneurship and develop leadership in the community.

The festive opening conference for immigrants and new immigrants - Olim Business Conference – was held at the Multidisciplinary Center, on December 29. The conference, which was held in English and adapted to the immigrant audience, dealt with business growth and dealing with the challenges of entrepreneurship in Israel, and included lectures and practical content in the areas of financial management, marketing and branding, time management, dealing with burnout and digital tools for businesses. Among the speakers and lecturers at the conference were leading professionals in their fields, with experience in supporting entrepreneurs.

Following the conference and as part of the expansion of the program, a dedicated course in marketing and branding for businesses of new immigrants will open on March 8th 2026, led by Martine Alperstein, a marketing and branding expert. The course will be held in several sessions and will provide practical tools for building a strong brand, attracting customers and conducting proper marketing in the business environment in Israel - while adapting to the unique challenges of immigrant entrepreneurs.

In addition, on March 18th, a conference will be held under the theme of "Women's Day" and will center on Helen Gottstein's lecture SHE SPEAKS.

An inspiring, humorous lecturer who deals with expressing personal and business voices in a new space. The lecture directly addresses the unique challenges of new immigrants – the experience of foreignness, language and cultural gaps, and the need to “take a place” in the professional space – and sets a clear message of confidence, presence, and ability to influence.

The new program reflects a city concept that sees new immigrants as a community, and as an economic asset, and works to create a supportive environment that combines professional knowledge, personal empowerment, and a growing business community. The Multidisciplinary Center emphasizes that this is only the first stage, and that additional programs to promote entrepreneurship, employment, and leadership among new immigrants are expected to open during the year.
