The Engineering Administration in the municipality continues to upgrade the services for residents and developers by moving to a convenient and simple digital system in which residents are able to submit documents to the committee at any stage of construction.
The Engineering Administration in the municipality launched a new digital system called SERVENT. The system allows residents, applicants and developers building in the city, to submit documents to the committee online for the first time, according to the construction stages.
Documents that can be submitted are; approval of the start of work, the execution stage, a certificate of completion or completion of construction. The system receives the documents and can provide a response from the committee online as well, at any stage of construction, in a convenient and simple way.
This service joins the upgrade of additional services that the Engineering Administration provides digitally to residents and developers. This is as part of the smart city model that the municipality has been leading in recent years, to improve the service for residents by moving to digital services accessible from anywhere on a computer or mobile phone, without the need to physically come to the municipality offices.

Among the digital services offered by the Engineering Administration; submission, review and approval of building plans digitally. This process combines secure digital signatures of surveyors and planners, and allows for online submission, greater transparency and significant streamlining of the planning and licensing procedures in city building plans, construction and development plans and architectural annexes and building permits. In addition, there are online forms on the engineering website. These include an independent planning information sheet, submitting a request for planning information including liability for the improvement levy and submitting an online objection to a permit/planning application.
