Two huge stages hosted top stars in one day of celebrations that included Ninet Tayeb, Ivri Lider, Ness and Stila, Eliana Tidhar and Lee Biran and Orna and Moshe Detz.
Thousands of residents and visitors came to the Independence Day celebrations on Jerusalem Day, a concept that the municipality created with after some of the shows were postponed on Independence Day due to the security sensitivity that we were experiencing. The new date chosen for the celebrations carried symbolic significance, as it fell on the Gregorian date of the establishment of the State of Israel, May 14th.
The event took place on two huge stages in Emek HaHula Amphi and in Anabe Park.. The main show included Ninet Taib, Ivri Lider and duo Ness and Stila, who swept the audience with high energy with greatest hits. In addition, top local dancers and bands performed on the main stage, with the evening itself being marked by the 30th anniversary year of the founding of the city.
At the same time, in Anabe Park, residents enjoyed family shows with the traditional performance of local singing groups. The duo Detz and Detz, followed by Eliana Tidhar and Lee Biran with the show “The Sixteenth Lamb,” based on the beloved and familiar songs that generations of children and parents have grown up with.
