On 25.11.2022, the 17th Modiin Run is scheduled to take place, with many road closures and diversions along the route of the run.
The following roads will be closed at the designated times:
Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic from the corner of Ginot Dotan (near the youth club) to the "Holmes Place" square from 03:00 until 12:00. Also, during those hours, Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic in the section between Emek Jezreel Street - West and the corner of Emek Jezreel - East.
Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic from the corner of Nahal Eyon to the corner of Emek Jezreel, from 05:00 until 13:00.
The Emek Dotan crossing from the direction of Clil HaHoresh towards Emek Jezreel Street will be closed to traffic from 05:00 to 13:00
Nahal Yarmuch St. will be closed to traffic in the direction of Emek Jezreel Street, from 05:30 to 07:15.
Emek Jezreel St. corner of Nahal Yarmuch towards Emek Dotan, will be closed to traffic from 05:00 to 13:00.
Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic on both sides in the section between Sderot Yair Farag Boulevard and Emek Jezreel Street, from 05:45 to 12:30.
Nahal Betzet St. will be closed to the entry and exit of vehicles, from 05:45 to 13:00.
Sderot Yair Farag will be closed to traffic from the Maccabim Reut intersection (Route 443) to the corner of Emek HaHula North, from 05:45. until 12:00.
Sderot Emek HaHula North (even numbers) will be closed to traffic along its entire length from the corner of Yair Farag to the intersection with Emek Dotan/Arar streets, from 05:45 until 07:15.
Sderot Emek HaHula South (odd numbers) will be closed along its entire length, from the Emek Dotan/Lev Ha'ir intersection to Yair Farag, from 05:45 until 09:30.
Sderot Emek Dotan West (odd numbers) will be closed to traffic from the corner of Lavona Street to the Emek Hula/Arar intersection, from 05:45 until 07:30.
Arar Street will be closed to traffic along its entire length, from the corner of Emek Dotan/Emek Hula to the intersection with Sderot Hasmonaim from 05:45 until 07:45.
Ficus Street (west) will be closed to traffic from the corner of Dam HaMaccabim to Arar Street, from 05:45 until 07:45.
Rechov HaRakevet will be closed to traffic in the section between Transport Square and Matityahu HaCohen Street, from 05:45 until 07:45.
The Sderot Hashmonaim crossing will be closed to traffic in the section between Arar Street and Sderot Emek Zvulun, from 06:15 until 07:45 (travel will be possible via the underpass).
Sderot Hashmonaim (northbound) will be closed to traffic in the section between Transportation Square and Moshe Sneh Street, from 06:00 until 07:45.
Sderot Hashmonaim (southbound) will be closed to traffic in the section between Haim Bar Lev Street and Transportation square, from 06:00 to 07:45 (travel will be possible via the underpass).
Sderot Emek Zevulun North (even numbers) will be closed to traffic from the intersection of Sderot Hashmonaim to the corner of Paz Street, from 06:00 until 07:30.
Sderot Emek Zevulun from the corner of Paz Street towards the commercial area/Technology Park to the corner of Emek HaEla Street will be closed to traffic from 06:00 until 07:30.
Sderot Emek Zvulun South (odd numbers) will be closed to traffic from the corner of Shabo Street to the corner of Avnei Hoshen Street, from 06:00 until 07:45.
Sderra HaMercazit will be closed to traffic along its entire length and on both sides, from the corner of Emek Elah Street (the Water Park) to the square connecting HaNetiya Street and Ma'ayan Street and the exit towards Ben Shemen Forest, from 06:15 until 07:45.
Sderot Tsela HaHar, Sderot Hama’ale and Sderot Ben Gurion up to the intersection with Sderot Melacha Street and the turn to Route 431 towards Modi'in (entrance to the Einav center), will be closed along their entire length in both directions, from 06:15 until 08:15.
It will not be possible to exit Road 431 in the direction of Pata’ei Modi'in train station and it will not be possible to reach Einav center via road 431 from 06:30 until 08:30.
Road 431 from west to east, from the Anaba interchange to the entrance to the city at the Sderot Hasmonaim/Yitzhak Rabin intersection, will be closed to traffic from 06:30 until 09:00.
It will not be possible to enter nor exit Einav center between the hours of 06:30 and 08:30.
The Sderot Hashmonaim/Yitzhak Rabin/431 intersection will be closed to traffic from 06:45 until 09:00.
Sderot Hashmonaim from Yitzhak Rabin corner to Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic from south to north, from 06:45 until 09:15.
Sderot Emek Dotan will be closed to traffic from west to east from the intersection of Sderot Hashmonaim to the corner of Emek HaHula Street/Lev Ha'ir, from 06:45 until 09:30.
Sderot Emek Hula South (odd numbers) will be closed along its entire length, from the Emek Dotan/Lev Ha'ir intersection to Yair Farag from 06:00 until 09:30.
From 06:45 until 12:30 additional streets will be closed to traffic:
Yair Farag from the entrance circle to Maccabim, from south to north, will be closed to traffic towards Route 443, from 05:45 until 12:00.
Maccabim Circle will be closed to traffic from 08:00 until 09:30. It will be possible to leave and enter Reut via Sderot Menachem Begin only.
Sderot Maccabim will be closed to traffic in both directions from Rananim Square to Yair Farag, from 08:00 to 09:30. The exit from Maccabim will be possible from the direction of Derech haRishonim and from there through the northern entrance in the direction of Yair Farag, and from there in the direction of Road 443 only. Exit from Maccabim will be under the direction of the Modi'in police.
Entry and exit from Nahal Betzet Street will not be possible for the entire duration of the race.
There will be no exit from Emek Jezreel St. and Nahal Bezeq St. in the direction of Sderot Emek Dotan.
No access for vehicles entering or exiting Emek Dotan for houses numbered 1-37.
It will not be possible for vehicles to leave from Nahal Gaaton and Nahal Taninim streets in the direction of Emek Dotan Boulevard.
Below are alternate routes that are accessible during the race:
Route 431 to the west can be reached via Sderot Hashmonaim from north to south until the intersection of Sderot Hashmonaim/Yitzhak Rabin, and from there turn right towards Route 431.
You can also drive through the bridge connecting the neighborhoods of Masuah to Tsipporim on Nahal Zohar Street, from there to Hasida Street in the direction of the exits to Route 431. In addition you may drive through the Moreshet neighborhood on the bypass road, Emek Hefer Street towards Sderot Hammam Street and from there down towards Road 431.
From the neighborhoods of Moriah, Shvatim and Masuah, it will be possible to travel towards the north of the city through the bridge leading to Tsipporim from Masuah via Nahal Zohar Street, to Route 431, and from there via Yehuda Maccabi Street towards the Avnei Hen neighborhood and the adjacent neighborhoods.
Access to the technology park will be possible via Sderot HaReches Street only.
The Einav center (Yishpro Center) will be accessible from the Nofim and Tsipporim neighborhoods as well as through Yehuda HaMaccabi Street and from there to the Einav interchange and Sderot Hammam Street. In addition, access will be possible through Nof Ayalon/Shaalbim and from there through the access road connecting to Haganan Street in the center of Einav.
The underpass road will be open from north to south.
Route 431 from east to west will be open along its entire length.
Those leaving/entering the Moriah and Shvatim neighborhoods are advised to drive through the Menachem Begin intersection, Shivtei Israel St. and the exit road towards Latrun.
Residents of Emek Hula, Emek Zvulun and Emek Dotan between the houses numbered 1-37 are requested not to park their cars along the street but rather, in the building parking lots or on nearby streets. Any vehicle parked on the "race route" will be towed.
