The municipal education system in Modi'in Maccabim Reut is well above the national average, the Ministry of Education announced on September 11, 2023. The data shows educational and value activities alongside educational achievements.

On 11.9.23 the Ministry of Education published statistics for the academic year 2021-22, presenting the educational and value activities carried out in schools alongside educational achievements. According to the data, it is evident that the municipal education system is well above the national average.

In 2021-22, a total of 1,974 students studied in 12th grade (the finishing class) and 6,070 students in grades 10-12. This figure places Modi'in Maccabim Reut with 92.2% eligibility for matriculation (the national average is 75.9%.) The rate of matriculation which in the last 4 years stood at 92%-93% has been maintained.

94% of 12th grade residents attend schools in the city (an improvement of almost a percentage compared to the previous year’s figure - 93%). This indicates the trust of parents and students in the municipal system, and the highest percentage of students who start and stay in city schools where the national average is 80.8%.

Special education students, including those integrated into the regular education system, comprise about 10% (including children from surrounding communities). It should be emphasized that this figure includes graduates of Gvanim school for special education. In this context, an amazing figure is that 8.8% of all students who are submitted for matriculation are special education students. Another interesting figure is that 3.2% of the students who are submitted for matriculation are new immigrants.

Another important achievement of the municipal system is the success in reducing the number of pupils who drop out of school, which is zero - 0.4% compared to the national figure of 1.1%, which again showcases the educational principle of the Education Administration: "Do not give up on any student.”

In the outstanding matriculation data, Modi'in Maccabim Reut continues the upward trend of one in every fourth pupil completing his or her education in the city with an outstanding matriculation certificate (excellence)- 24.6%. The rate is the same as the previous year’s (compared to 13.5% for eligibility for an outstanding matriculation certificate in the national data).

Another impressive figure is the percentage of students entitled to a technology diploma, which stands at 70.6%, according to which three out of four students who graduated from the 2021-22 class studied at least three technological subjects, with at least one of them at the 5-point credit level. An equally impressive statistic is that 27.5% of all students eligible for a technological qualification are entitled to a technological qualification with honors. This achievement is due to the investment of students, school staff and the municipal system, who see the "future" professions as an investment in the future of the city and the country.

The municipal education administration continues to encourage the increase in the number of students taking 4-5point level exams. This year the number of students is 53.5% with 29.1% matriculating with 5 point credits. In English studies, the data continue to be impressive with 73.8% of students matriculating with 5-point credits.
