Two new special benefits are offered by "Yoda" youth center to reservists and their families, in a gesture to ease the grinding routine a little, and provide moments of shared family enjoyment.
The benefits are provided in collaboration with the Hot Cinema Modiin and include: a double ticket for 30 NIS and children's movie tickets for 15 NIS per ticket. The benefits are conditional on presenting a certificate of active reserve service at the cinema box office, and each benefit can be redeemed once.
This activity joins the many activities offered by the municipality to families of the reservists during the war.
Just recently, the municipality opened a dedicated space for families where one of the parents is in reserve army service, at the youth club in Emek Dotan.
Dozens of children of reservist families attended and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon with volunteer teenagers who played with them in a space that includes a room lined with mattresses and soft toys for babies, craft corners and coloring pages, board games, soap bubbles, and ball games in the outdoor yard, and a coffee and cookie corner for mothers or fathers.
In the coming weeks, the Department of Society, Youth and Young People will hold various activities in different urban complexes and on different days during the week, in cooperation with Sachlabim, to allow respite, relaxation and refreshment for both children and parents, in order to recharge their batteries and overcome this difficult period, together.
