As Shabbat came to an end, we were informed of the difficult news of the murder of Sgt. First class (res.) Ori Yaish, a resident of the city, who was murdered in the heinous attack that took place on Friday at the Re'em Junction.
Ori, 27 years old, grew up in the city and served in the reserves in the 8119 infantry battalion.
The funeral for Ori was held on Saturday 17.2.24 at 11pm in the military section of the city cemetery.
The residents of Modi'in Maccabim Reut extend their condolences to Ori's parents and share in the family's deep sorrow.
