The Youth department held a workshop to help young adults prepare for recruitment to the IDF, specifically Yom HaMeah, at the "Cafe" youth club, as part of preparing for IDF service. About 50 11th grade students from around the city participated.
At the workshop, held on 8.2.24, participants received practical and important tools to prepare for Yom Hameah, and for related screenings.
Guidance given to candidates for conscription, by the best professionals in the field will be expanded, in addition to that which takes place within schools.
Individual advice is also provided. Candidates will be able to receive individual assistance in a variety of aspects, including orientation, recruitment, placement, service rejection, appeals against Dapar profile grades and more.
The Youth department is strengthening collaboration with all the parties involved in the field of preparation for service, including schools, Meitav, and the Ministry of Defense, to ensure that the most comprehensive preparation is available to all members of the military and their parents.
