On Friday 15.3.24 between 09:00 and 15:00 there will be a large training exercise in the city by the municipal rescue unit in conjunction with the drone unit and MADA.
One hundred volunteers from the rescue unit, about 40 medical personnel from the city, and about 30 students from the Ironi Heh high School are expected to participate in the exercise which simulates wounded in the field.
The purpose of the exercise is to improve the preparation in case of war in the north and to strengthen cooperation between the volunteers and the various units, in order to be ready in real time if necessary.
During the exercise, 15 volunteers from the drone unit that was established following the war will also participate. The drones will be flown and will give a picture of the situation from the field and will transmit directly to the municipal security center.
The exercise will take place at the rescue unit's training site, on Hativat Tsanchanim St., corner of Hativa 7, between the hours of 9am and 3pm. The security and emergency division of the municipality stated that there will be ambulances and security vehicles near the training site, and in the parking lot of Ironi Gimmel school parking lot.
