The main avenue in Moreshet is located on Chaim Weizman Street and is the main public and commercial axis of the neighborhood. The avenue features a water element that simulates the flow of a stream, shady pergolas, wide sidewalks, and it connects to the Givat A-Shon antiquities site.
On Thursday, May 29, the main avenue on Chaim Weizman Street in the Moreshet neighborhood was inaugurated, with a happy and colorful event. Hundreds of residents enjoyed the afternoon activities, inflatables and colorful figures that walked among the passers-by, with local businesses along the boulevard also taking part in the celebration.
The central boulevard in the Moreshet neighborhood extends for about half a kilometer, and is the main public and commercial axis of the neighborhood.
The boulevard was designed as a high-quality urban space, combining commercial facades, wide sidewalks for pleasant walking, shady pergolas, landscaping with plants and trees, lighting and bicycle paths.
In the center of the boulevard, a park with a "green urban" character, which ends at the top of Givat A-Shon, the antiquities site, overlooking the city and also serving as a "green lung" and as an element connecting the parts of the neighborhood. Also on the boulevard, are play facilities and a water element that simulates the flow of a stream, which creates interest and a pleasant atmosphere for a walk along the boulevard and encourages foot traffic, stay and leisure.
Greenstein Har-Gil company designed the landscape architecture and environmental planning, as well as the boulevard, as part of the Moreshet neighborhood planning designed by architect Yaakov Yaar.
