Two unique training programs tailored to city residents will grant a teaching certificate and integration into the new profession in the municipal education system. The goal of the programs is to integrate quality human resources comprised of city residents.
In collaboration with the Kibbutzim Seminary and Efrata Colleges, the city is launching unique training programs for residents, who will be able to convert academics to teaching - teachers, kindergarten teachers and kindergarten teachers.
The training programs are another layer in nurturing and promoting an advanced and high-quality education system, with the aim of incentivizing residents to integrate into the teaching professions, bringing quality human resources in the city's educational institutions and as part of the community.
The training programs are tailored to city residents, with an adapted course of study, practical training in the municipal education system close to home, with scholarships from the Ministry of Education and the municipality. At the end of the program, a teaching certificate will be awarded and integration into the new professional path in the municipal education system will be established.
Academics' Conversion Program for Teaching in Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut
The studies provide:
A teaching certificate according to the discipline area according to the academic background (for example: elementary teaching certificate, early childhood, special education, kindergartens, etc.)
Certificates and scholarships:
*A grant for tuition reimbursement will be provided by the Ministry of Education.
*A social scholarship will be provided for social involvement.
*A scholarship from the Authority - for those who choose to teach in *educational institutions in the city.It is important to emphasize: The scholarships are part of the incentive from the Ministry of Education and are therefore subject to the terms and decisions of the ministry.
Admission requirements:
*An admission interview with the college staff that includes counseling and guidance.
*Bachelor's degree with at least 75 credits (or BSc).
*Admission in coordination with the local authority.Study days:
*A day of distance learning or at the college as usual.
*A day of practical study at educational institutions in Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut.
Study program - converting academics to teaching in Modi'in Maccabim-Re'ut in collaboration with Efrata College
The program is in collaboration with the veteran Efrata College, which was established more than a century ago and leads academic training programs for teaching at the highest level.Admission conditions:
*Admission interview with the college staff, including counseling and guidance.
*A bachelor's degree with at least 75 credits.
*Admission in coordination with the local authority.Study days:
*One day of study per week - remotely or at the college as usual.
*A day of practical study at educational institutions in Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut.Scholarships:
*A grant for tuition reimbursement will be provided by the Ministry of Education.
*A social scholarship will be provided for social involvement.
