" World Voices" is a new program launched by the Seniors Department of the Community Division, and the first session took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
The first guest in the program was the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Duško Kovacević, who arrived at the meeting held in the Einan Hall at the Azrieli Mall, in front of dozens of veterans who came to hear from him about his country and its magical landscapes.
The meeting was also attended by Mayor Haim Bibas. As is known, the city has a twin city alliance with the city of Banja Luka. Bibas said that the wonderful friendship between Modi'in Maccabim Reut and the ambassador warms the heart, and in Israel's difficult times, they were the first to offer full support in standing with Israel.
This was the first meeting within the framework of the " World Voices" project, which was born from the initiative of city resident, Janine Litmanović, and the Community Division. Additional meetings with ambassadors from various countries around the world will be held once a month, and their goal is to connect the work of diplomacy with the city's residents, who will be able to get to know the countries up close, become curious, and ask questions.
