New Defibrillator at Beit Argaman

11/03/2026 כ"ב אדר תשפ"ו

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, a CPR device (defibrillator) was installed at Beit Argaman in Modi'in, donated by Attorney Moshe (Moise) Yair. Moise, 94, has been an active member of Argaman for many years, a former member of Argaman's management and is known as an "elder of the tribe." He is also referred to as "little Moise" mentioned in the famous poem by the late Yossi Banai.

In a short ceremony held by the Argaman management, a plaque was erected commemorating the donation, and Argaman Chairman Avraham Katz Oz congratulated Moise, thanked him warmly for his generous donation, and wished him a long life. "'Little Moise” recalls an era, the childhood days of the entire Jewish people," said Katz Oz, emphasizing that Moise was the one who initiated the donation, and for that he should be cherished and appreciated.

"I did it with a calm heart, knowing that this could help all of us," said Attorney Moshe Yair. "I did it because Argaman is dear to me. I enjoy this organization, and I am happy that I can do something that justifies my membership in it," he added, concluding: "I hope that we all will never need this device or any other devices of its kind."
