In the shadow of the war, the municipality is investing resources in creating a program for recreational activities for children, youth, and the whole family. The program adheres to the Home Front Command's guidelines, which are constantly updated, and of course, in protected and safe spaces with the permitted number of participants.
Last week, the municipality, through Sachlabim Association and the Sports Department, initiated recreational activities for children that included inflatables, which took place in the sports halls at the Inbalim School and the Shvatim Sports Hall. This week, the municipality is continuing this activity, also in the Moreshet and Nofim neighborhoods, with additional events being announced on the municipality's social media.
In addition, the municipality announced that it is converting the minus 3 floor of the Hasdera parking lot under the Gray Club into an experiential and immersive space for children ages 4 to 12. This space is approved by the Home Front Command as a safe and protected space in the event of an alarm.
All of this will happen from Tuesday 24.3 to Thursday 26.3, from 12:30-18:00. Led by the Culture and Events Department, activities will take place in several rounds in accordance with the guidelines. The complex will feature inflatables, go-karting, gymborees, trampolines and activities. In addition, there will be food stands for a fee. Ticket cost is15 shekels including an accompanying parent. Anyone over the age of 4 is required to purchase a ticket. Pre-registration is required on the municipality’s website.
Also planned this week on Thursday, March 26, the minus 3 floor of the Hasdera parking lot will be transformed into a fun space for middle school aged youth, led by the Community Safety Department and the Culture and Events Division. Youth will be able to spend time in the complex at a headphone party and gaming and arcade stations, between 21:00 and midnight. Admission is free with advance registration.
