The work to upgrade Emek HaHula St (south) on the odd-numbered side of the road continues, with road resurfacing. The work is being carried out in stages, throughout the day, and temporary traffic arrangements will apply.
The extensive municipal program to improve infrastructure continues. About a week ago, the first stage of the road work on Emek HaHula (south) was completed. Several months ago, road upgrade work was completed on the northern part and the even-numbered side of the street.
As part of the work, the road is being scrubbed and re-paved, from west to east on the odd-numbered side. The work will take place in stages, to make it as easy as possible for the residents of the neighborhood, so that only in the sections where the work is being carried out will temporary traffic arrangements apply.
The second phase will begin this Sunday, 31.5.26, at 09:00 until Friday, 5.6.26 at 09:00. Emek Hula Street South will be closed to traffic in the section of the road between Ma'ale Gideon Intersection (the intersection will remain open) to the Nehar HaYarden intersection in front of house number 71. It was also reported that the intersection of Emek HaHula and Nehar HaYarden streets will be closed to traffic intermittently during the work, with most of the work at the intersection taking place at night. The following week, the third phase will take place, from 7th June at 09:00 until Friday, 12.6 at 09:00; Emek HaHulaSt. south will be closed to traffic from Nehar HaYarden intersection in front of house 71 (excluding the intersection) to the Nahal Tzin-Ginat HaHula intersection in front of the amphitheater opposite house number 53 (including the intersection). The crossing between Emek HaHula North opposite house number 52 and Emek HaHula South opposite house number 53 will be closed to traffic.
Nehar HaYarden intersection will be closed and opened alternately depending on the progress of the work. When the intersection is closed, Nehar HaYarden will be a dead end at the EmekHa Hula South- Nehar HaYarden intersection. Those approaching Nehar HaYarden intersection from the west will be allowed to turn right onto Nehar HaYarden. Those coming to the Nahal Tzin intersection will be allowed to turn right onto Emek HaHula South.
The fourth phase will begin on Sunday, June 14th from 09:00 until Friday, June 19th at 09:00 , during which Emek HaHula Street south will be closed to traffic from the Nahal Tzin-Emek HaHula intersection opposite house 53 (excluding the intersection) to the Ginat Hula intersection opposite house 35 near the Sharbat Commercial Center (excluding the intersection).
The work will continue throughout the day, including at night. During each phase of the work, parking of vehicles in the parking bays is prohibited, and access to residents’ parking lots at buildings where the work will take place will not be permitted.
