Half of the summer vacation is already behind us, and Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut continues with another month of shows, events and activities for the whole family.

Half of the summer vacation has already passed and the Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut municipality is wrapping up a hugely successful first month of “Modi'in Summer Events 2026”. Thousands of residents have taken part in recent weeks in events, shows, activities for children and families, story times, fountain parties and community events that took place in neighborhoods and throughout the city.

Last week, the center of the summer events was the Wine Festival in Anaba Park, which took place for the first time in the city. Each evening, more than 1,000 residents came to the festival, enjoying the summer atmosphere, community gathering, wine, music and open entertainment in one of the city's favorite hotspots.

The highlight of the week was the special show to mark the 30th anniversary of the city's founding, with Eden Ben Zaken, who thrilled the audience with a captivating performance, and Elai Botner and his band who created particularly moving moments. During the show, the artists came down from the stage onto the lawn, approached the audience, and sang along with the spectators.

One of the evening's moving highlights was when Elai dedicated the song "We Will Meet in Dreams" to the memory of the fallen of the Iron Swords War, the city's daughters and sons, and those murdered on October 7th.

During the song, pictures of the fallen, the city's daughters and sons were projected on the screens, connecting the city's 30th anniversary celebrations with memory, pain, and the local community, and gave the entire evening additional meaning.

Alongside the main events, community summer events also continued throughout the city. Many families attended the fountain party in Anaba Park, which offered a watery and happy afternoon for children and parents. Storytimes continued to attract a young audience on the grassy plaza in Emek Dotan and in libraries, and events in the neighborhoods brought summer closer to home, with activities for children, shows, activities and a community atmosphere in public spaces.

The municipality is now preparing for another month of summer events, with a series of shows and activities for the whole family. Among the notable events will be the performance by Hanan Ben Ari in Anaba Park, as part of the 30th anniversary events of Modi'in, a live show requiring advance ticket purchase.

Alongside it, other major events with free admission will be held, including the IDF Orchestra hosting the Revivo project in Anaba Park, a performance by the Tislam Band as part of the Anaba Nights, and of course the grand summer closing show with Eden Hasson and Noa Kirel, which will conclude the summer events in a particularly festive atmosphere. Modi'in summer events will continue throughout the month of August with fountain parties, story times, movies in neighborhoods, community activities, youth events and shows for the whole family. The municipality invites residents to continue to come, participate and enjoy an urban, community and festive summer.
