The Ministry of Education has appointed Liat Glazer as principal of Hofim Elementary School. Glazer brings with her experience in educational consulting, team management and leading systemic processes.
Liat Glazer has been appointed by the Ministry of Education to manage Hofim Elementary School, announced this week by the Education Administration in Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut municipality. Glazer, who has extensive experience in educational consulting, management and leading systemic processes, will replace the outgoing school principal, Tali Shilton.
Liat has extensive experience in the education system, in educational consulting, team management and leading educational and therapeutic processes. In the past year, she served as an educational advisor at the Yozma School, where she was a member of the management team, mentored and guided teams, and led intervention programs and systemic processes. Previously, she served as an educational counselor at Branco Weiss High School.
Liat has a master's degree in educational counseling and a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. She is also certified in parent guidance and family counseling, has a teaching certificate in psychology, and is currently completing her CBT psychotherapy studies. Alongside her work in the education system, she has been involved in parent guidance and in guiding and training educational counselors.
Previously, Glazer worked at the Ironi Hey elementary school in the city, where she served as counselor coordinator and educational counselor. As part of her role, she led the school counseling system, was a member of the small management team, and was a partner in decision-making in the areas of pedagogy and social welfare. In addition, she led educational and therapeutic processes in special education classes and age groups.
Liat also brings with her experience working with at-risk youth and guiding teams and families. In the past, she managed an educational project at the Snir Association, in which she led group and individual processes for youth and their families and managed a team of counselors. She began her educational career as a teacher, educator and therapeutic counselor at Tse'elim school in Eilat.
The municipality's Education Administration congratulate Liat on her appointment and wish her great success in her new role and in leading Hofim school, its students, the educational staff and the school community.
