Agam Noy, resident judoka, has won the bronze medal at the 2026 Cadet World Judo Championships in Ecuador.

Modi'in Maccabim Reut expresses immense pride and congratulates Agam Noy, athlete of the city’s "Derech HaJudo" club, on her recent win.

17-year-old Noy, a member of the Israeli cadet judo team, gained a significant achievement in the international arena when she stood on the podium at the World Championship to receive her bronze medal.

Behind the achievement are years of training, perseverance and hard work. Agam grew and developed on the mat at the “Derech HaJudo” club at the Sachlabim Association, under the guidance of coaches Ido and Noam Elkayim, and alongside her activities at the local club, she advanced to the Israeli national team and the world stage.

The championship provided another impressive achievement for Israeli judo, when Agam’s teammate, Ella Barlev, won the gold medal and was crowned world champion. The two shared the podium together and completed an especially successful championship for the Israeli cadet team.
For Agam, the bronze medal is a significant milestone in a sporting path that was built over years, from her childhood training at the local club to standing on the podium at the World Championship.

Sachlabim Association congratulated Agam on her impressive achievement, and to coaches Ido and Noam Elkayim from the “Derech HaJudo” club for their professional guidance along the way. Great pride for the club, the city and Israeli sports.
