Tishrei events will open with the sounding of the shofar in parks throughout the city, and will continue with the traditional "Slichot at Dawn" performance in Anabe Park.
The Culture and Events Department is preparing for the Tishrei holidays with two events that have become a city tradition in recent years: neighborhood shofar sounding throughout the city and the musical Slichot performance in Anabe Park.
On Sunday, September 13th at 17:00, residents of the city are invited to come to their local parks to hear the shofar together as they usher in the new year.
On Friday, September 18th at 6:00 AM, the traditional "Selichot at Dawn"show will take place in Anabe Park. City residents are invited to the event, along with sixth-grade students from the city's school who participate in the special event every year.
This year, Ben Artzi and Aharon Razel will perform at the event, performing some of the best songs from the Land of Israel alongside melodies and Selichot piyyutim.
